Today's newsletter will take 7.41 minutes to read.

It’s been awhile - how ya been?

Today is the last trading day of 2023 so we wanted to touch base and let you know what’s been going on.

The last time we published, Bed Bath and Beyond had filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy for reorganization and things weren’t looking so hot.

Since then, a lot has transpired, but you wouldn’t know it if you rely on the mainstream media. They’ve been almost completely silent.

As for us, we’ve been spending our time listening to Twitter, errr X Spaces (group voice calls discussing common interests) and watching ThePPShow as well as reading through the court dockets when they drop.

Speaking of ThePPShow, along with philanthropist Bill Pulte, they hosted a meet and greet for BBBY shareholders held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida a few weeks back.

At the event, over 250 shareholders, many of them “whales”, got together for a live streaming of ThePPShow which featured the guys arriving via helicopter to an airport hanger that was equipped with a stage and a broadcast camera crew, all while being cheered on by hundreds of individual investors and community members.

The atmosphere was euphoric! Morale was incredibly high and excitement was rampant.

It’s kind of crazy to think there would be such a crowd who decided to gather and celebrate a stock that currently isn’t trading. Unless…things are not as they appear.

Regardless of what’s coming and when it’ll get here, It was great to meet some of the top contributors in person including Jake2B, Kais, Controlled Chaos, U-copy, Michael, ChadMojo and of course, PP.

We especially enjoyed meeting community members Rolf, Connor, Stephen and Shayne and also hanging our with our longtime friend, Chase.

One of the highlights of the event was having Larry Cheng join in via satellite and answer questions about Ryan Cohen. These questions were asked by Bill Pulte and PP, along with some of the audience members.

For those of you who’ve forgotten, Larry Cheng was the first investor to give Ryan Cohen the “yes” when RC was seeking funding to launch Chewy. Larry is also a board member of GameStop and Co-Founder of Volution Capital.

It was great to be apart of such an energetic event and to meet so many of those that have contributed to the mind hive by crowdsourcing information throughout this journey.

One contributor that wasn’t able to make the event but that has been able to make quite a name for himself through his research and writing dropped a thread today that really summarizes where we are and where we’re going. Grab a drink and prepare for an exciting read:

We’ll be back when we have additional updates as we watch things play out. Until then…

Happy New Year! 🥂 2024 is shaping up to be pretty exciting 🚀
