"This is the Most Complex Play I've Ever Seen"
Good Morning! This is Mother Squeezer, the newsletter that feels our spidey-senses tingling and brings you updates and insights along with timely information about our favorite Activist Investor, Ryan Cohen, and our favorite stocks - GME and BBBY.
Wow - Friday after market close brought us some BIG updates! Bed Bath & Beyond has proposed a reverse stock split and will hold a special meeting next Monday to vote on it.
A reverse stock split is typically not a good thing, however, in the case with this stock, things are rarely as they initially appear.
Check out the recent outcome of this reverse split with Cosmos Health (COSM):
COSM did a reverse split which forced naked short sellers to close. The price went from $0.33 per share to $23.01...almost a 7,000% increase in price! If our speculation indeed turns out to be true, there could be much more short interest against BBBY than there was for COSM.
That's a split we can all get behind!
Brace yourself for the potential of upcoming craziness over the coming weeks!

Well, did you?
Did you know?
Spider-Man wasn’t actually going to be a spider-based superhero. Initially, Stan Lee wanted to base a comic on a fly or insect but decided on a spider.
This is the Most Complex Play I've Ever Seen
"William" a frequent guest on ThePPShow is a trader and investor with over 30 years of experience in the markets. He trades both directions, sometimes shorting and sometimes going long on stocks. He is arguably one of the most knowledgable guests when it comes to market behavior and reading between the lines.
He has said many times through this saga that "this (bbby) is the most complex play I've ever seen". What did he do on Friday after the announcement? He bought 10,000 more shares.
Although once again, the media is spinning a reverse split and looming dillution as an extreme negative, which, in fairness, it usually is, in this case, we see some potential bullish outcomes on the horizon.
u/ByeByeShorters did a nice write-up explaining how they see things. We'll summarize it here:
Invest in People
This company was saved from bankruptcy
Everything is the end, until it isn't
Dillution
The biggest bear trap you have ever seen in the history of the stock market
It's a really good read and we encourage you to view it in its entirety:
