Good Morning! This is Mother Squeezer, the newsletter that helps you burn calories and brings you clever life hacks, updates and insights, along with timely information about our favorite Activist Investor, Ryan Cohen, and our favorite stocks - GME and BBBY.
It's back to reality after a short trading week. We're open all 5 days this week. It's time to get back into the swing of things and get a jump on our new year resolution.
Cutting back portions may not be enough to get us where we want to be. We plan to increase our exercise as well. We are considering trying the new Squirrel Diet but not quite sure. It's just nuts. /joke
We'll admit it. We overindulged on Thursday and Friday. The food was too good not to have thirds. This week we're serious about getting back on track. With today's clever life hack, you can burn calories quickly and easily too:
Only a weirdough would do that, right?

Black Friday took on its current day meaning back in the 1980s as the day that stores sold so much merchandise that their annual revenue went from being “in the red” (loss) to “in the black” (profit). As Black Friday grew in popularity in the 1990s, stores began opening their doors at midnight or the early hours of Friday, so people started to camp out.
Some states declared Black Friday an official holiday for government employees and the shopping phenomenon began spreading worldwide. Today, at least 20 other countries observe some kind of late-November launch to the holiday shopping season.
Black Friday Online Sales Hit Record $9B
Reuters reported Black Friday sales rose 2.3% on online purchases citing Adobe Analytics data. Adobe Analytics measures commerce by analyzing transactions at over 85% of the top 100 websites in the US. This is great news and exceeded the 1% increase projection.
Another interesting observation is that 48% of all Black Friday digital sales were made from smartphones. This has been the largest percentage of purchases made from smartphones. With phones becoming larger and easier to browse the web, it's not all that surprising to see.
