Good Morning! This is Mother Squeezer, the newsletter that hugs it out with you and brings you clever life hacks, updates and insights, along with timely information about our favorite Activist Investor, Ryan Cohen, and our favorite stocks - GME and BBBY.

There's ugly and then there's UGLY. This market is ugly. We're hopeful it doesn't get really ugly.

This market is getting so ugly that when its momma dropped it off at school it got a littering fine. /joke

Maybe it's because they're ugly, maybe it's because you have a bad memory...regardless, if you forget someone's name, follow today's clever life hack and take them to Starbuck's for a reminder:

Nice to meet you...Janice?

There's ugly and then there's angels...this is beautiful! This is a very nice collection from @Galestorm.

Did you know?

According to scholars, the tale of The Ugly Duckling reflects Hans Andersen’s own feelings of alienation. As a boy, he was teased for his appearance and high-pitched voice, which often made him feel isolated, and he later wrote a story about a boy named Hans who gets made fun of as a child. Much like the ugly duckling, Andersen only later in life became the “swan”—a cultured, world-renowned writer with friends in high places. Andersen even admitted of The Ugly Duckling, “This story is, of course, a reflection of my own life.”

Sometimes We Need a Hug

Let's face it, sometimes we just need a hug. The market is ugly right now, it doesn't feel good and we're here to commiserate with you.

We are experienced enough to know that markets travel in cycles and looking at where we think GME and BBBY are heading, we're much closer to the bottom than the top.

We understand that this market doesn't allow for true price discovery because of PFOF (payment for order flow), ATS (alternative trading systems) and naked shorting. While it appears that a security may be trading at $X, it's true value may be 6,8,10 even 20x.

The numbers don't lie and the day of reckoning will eventually come and the short sellers will have to pay. Until then, we wait.

Ryan Says

Ryan tweeted this back in May:

The Fed raised rates again yesterday, no surprise there. RC let us know how he feels about rate increases months ago.
